Our mission includes helping in the development of faculty expertise in the use of technologies in teaching and learning through the use of education technologies. In line with this, we’d like to know more about your awareness and extent of use of Technology-Enhanced Personalized Learning (TEPL) as faculty members of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Specifically, the survey aims to: 1. Assess faculty members’ awareness of TEPL concepts and tools; 2. Identify the level of adoption of TEPL in teaching and learning practices; 3. Determine the challenges and barriers to implementing TEPL; 4. Gather insights on faculty needs for training and support for the adoption of TEPL in teaching. Memorandum No. ILCD MFMR 24-003: Survey on Awareness and Utilization of ILC Diliman Services Memorandum November 5, 2024 Memorandum No. ILCD MFMR 24 – 003 (Survey on Awareness and Utilization of ILC Diliman Services) As part of the Interactive Learning Center Diliman (ILC) under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA), we are dedicated to enhancing faculty expertise in the use of technologies for teaching and learning. Our mission includes operating the university’s online learning management system and promoting the production and use of interactive instructional materials. To ensure the continues improvement of our services, we are conducting a survey to gauge your awareness and utilization of the following ILC Diliman services: 1. Iskomunidad: An online academic community for UPD, Iskomunidad is a WIKI platform that facilitates the exchange of ideas and promotes collaborative content creation and peer review.2. Pages: A free, easy-to-use, do-it-yourself platform for creating and maintaining online sites for UPD units and projects, as well as for profiles of UPD faculty and researchers.3. Conference: A tool designed to assist in organizing scholarly conferences.4. Flipbook: This tool simulates the experience of opening and flipping through a physical book or magazine, allowing users to read its contents interactively. Memorandum No. ILCD MFMR 24-002: Launch of New Pages platform Memorandum July 19, 2024 Memorandum No. ILCD MFMR 24-002_Launch of New Pages platform The Interactive Learning Center Diliman (ILCD) will launch a New and Updated Pages web app on July 26, 2024. Pages is a free, easy-to-use, do-it-yourself platform for the creation and maintenance of inline sites for UPD units and projects as well as for profiles of UPD faculty and researchers. It seeks to fill the gap between well-developed UPD websites and outdated (if not abandoned or non-existent) sites of certain UPD units, projects, and researchers. The new pages platform will be accessible again on July 26 through https://new-pages.upd.edu.ph/. Please note that you have to login using your official email address (@up.edu.ph) to be able to access the platform. The following changes have been made to improve your experience: Switched from OpenScholar to WordPress There is now a feature to track user’s activities and revert any changes made. Accidentally deleting blocks is no longer a problem. A lot more plugins and themes to choose from. Effortless Drag-and-Drop: Build your website visually with the drag-and-drop interface. Simply drag elements where you want them, and watch your website take shape. Flexible Building Blocks: Choose from a library of pre-designed blocks for various functionalities like text, images, galleries, and more. Customize them to match your unique style. Seamless Content Management: Edit and manage your website content with ease – no coding required! The current pages sites will be relocated at http://pages.upd.edu.ph/.
