MEMORANDUM NO. ILCD MFMR 25 – 005: Launch of the New UVLe

Posts and Announcements Memorandum No. ILCD MFMR 25-005: Launch of the New UVLe Memorandum December 16, 2025 We are pleased to announce that a newer version of UVLe is now available for everyone to use. It is accessible currently at bagong-uvle.upd.edu.ph. This advanced access to the new version of UVLe brings about exciting new features as well as improved UI that will hopefully help in our classes. These changes include, but are not limited to, the following: – Improvements in overall user experience for both the faculty and students- Incorporation of an e-portfolio (that can be toggled off) so that students can highlight their accomplishments in their academic life and allowing faculty to evaluate the program learning outcomes that a student may have- Improved dashboards that is fully customizable- Removal of the left panel outside of the course view to reduce overall clutter- And much more This new UVLe will become our standard LMS starting the first semester of next school year and the CRS integration will be addressing this new UVLe by the beginning of midyear 2026. Access to the current version of UVLe would still be possible afterwards but most of the paid integrations, such as Turnitin, Zoom, etc. will be moved by midyear. To facilitate this, we will be holding trainings and updating the UVLe tutorials. Training dates are being finalized and will be published on the current UVLe as well as the ILCD website. These sessions will cover both the methods for transitioning to the newer UVLe and advanced training on the proper use of the Gradebook to handle the CRS Gradebook integration. For future reference, we will mention this older version of UVLe as UVLe22 and the newer version of UVLe as UVLe26.

Posts and Announcements Memorandum No. ILCD MFMR 25-003: New Feature Import Grades from UVLe to CRS Memorandum June 05, 2025 Dear UVLe Users,We are pleased to announce that the grade module of CRS is integrated with the grades module of UVLe. If you have properly created a course through the CRS-UVLe integration module and were able to correctly setup your grades in UVLe, you can import grades from UVLe to CRS. A training on how to properly setup your grades in UVLe can be found in this link or the QR code. You can import grades by:• logging into CRS• then going to UVLe Integration• click the import button of the class you want to import grades from. Doing this will take you to grade submission wherein a draft of the grades will already be seen. Do note that this is the draft submission and not yet the final submission of grades. Kindly verify that the information is correct before submitting. We hope that this will eventually reduce the number of change of grades due to wrong inputs in CRS. Best,UVLe Team
