UVLe Announcement Announcement November 11, 2021 Dear UVLe Users, We would first like to apologize for the downtimes of UVLe during the past month:Oct 21 – 12:19pm-2:20pm – due to database storage issuesNov 8 – 11:30am-12:20pm – due to internal network issues, private IP conflictsNov 8 – 4:30pm-5:00pm – due to file conversion issues, and subsequent issues with load balancing. As we have diagnosed the causes of these issues, we have resolved the causes for these major errors. And we continue to endeavor to ensure that these cases are rare if they do happen – striving for 99.5% uptime. During the scheduled maintenance done on Oct 25, we also added additional functionalities within UVLe. Of note is EdPuzzle (pro trial) – easily create beautiful interactive video lessons. We are given a free pro subscription until December 2021. We encourage those that want to level up their online teaching to try this resource. Other features that were included are:Peer Assessment – a group assignment submission combined with peer grading.Forum (Advanced) / Open Forum – enables participants to have asynchronous discussions with anonymous posting.Date Report tool – lets you edit all the dates for all activities. The UVLe team is still working on resolving other reported issues based on your feedback in our helpdesk. UVLe is Back and Emergency Downtime on Weekends

UVLe is Back and Emergency Downtime on Weekends Announcement October 21, 2021 UVLe Users, In line with the prior downtime of UVLe, we would like to announce an emergency downtime this weekend from Saturday 5pm til Sunday morning 9am. UVLe is now back online. We apologize for the inconvenience. There was an error with the database that caused the hard disk to be full. Any work between 12:15 to 2:15pm would not have been saved. We have applied a temporary fix that should last for a few months. However, we will do what we can to resolve it this weekend. Again, sorry for this. UVLe Team
